“All roads lead from Thebes”
A walking route that reads Vicenza as a great open-air theatre, from Scamozzi’s scenographic perspectives at the Teatro Olimpico to the Barche district, among historic quarters and palaces that tell of centuries of artisan know-how.
The itinerary crosses Palazzo Chiericati, Corso Palladio, Contrà Porti and Piazza dei Signori, then follows the course of the Retrone river to Ponte San Michele. Along the way, a stop at the Erre Studio workshop to discover artisanal woodworking, before concluding with an aperitif at Pasticceria Venezia.
